BASEDOW’S OF BAROSSA SHIRAZ
Dark red with vibrant purple hues
This wine exhibits aromas of dark chocolate and plums
The wine was matured in oak barrels for 15 months and this gives the palate its richness and depth.
The wine is full and luscious and is layered with flavours of plums, dark cherry and pepper. With silky tannins, it creates a smooth, soft finish and lingering mouthfeel.
A full-bodied wine, it is an excellent example of Barossa Valley Shiraz and will reward cellaring for up to 10 years.
The fruit comes from the Tanunda Hill Vineyard, located on Gomersal Road at Sheoak Log. The vineyard was established in 1999 and is planted to 10 different varieties, with Shiraz grapes the majority.
