The Wine Sellar commenced operations in 2011 following the purchase of a South Australian based wine distributor. Since that date, the business has grown significantly each year with sales now of over 100,000 cases (1 million litres) annually in all mainland states of Australia and Exports to Asia, the UK and Europe.
Specialising in wines from the Riverland, Limestone Coast and Barossa Valley, The Wine Sellar is a producer of Branded, Exclusive Label and Private Label wines.
The Company’s great strength is its flexibility, speed to market and quality of its wines at commercial and premium price points.
Started by Craig Thomas (CEO) and Neil MacKenzie (Chairman), each with over 25 years of experience in the wine industry, the Company sources its fruit specifically from the Old Mundulla Vineyard (725 acres) near Bordertown in South Australia, and the Tanunda Hill Vineyard (800 acres) in the Barossa Valley. Grapes also come from our winemaker’s own vineyards near Loxton in the Riverland of South Australia.
We manage our vineyards and grow the grapes to consistently produce a wide variety of internationally award-winning wines.
